MYTHOS

Introduction

Hey there!
I'm ProbsWinter, a modeling hobbyist who plays Wynncraft.
I have had a great time playing on Wynncraft, but I soon realized that many items share the same models.
While the models were neat, the fact that higher-tiered items can have the same look as some common equipment makes them feel less special. Wouldn't it be nice if there were more variation? To change this, I started modeling, and multiple resourcepacks were created in the course of two years, all of which became the foundation of MYTHOS, which is the project you're seeing right now.

You may notice discrepancies in the quality of models, and this is because MYTHOS is still incomplete and growing. I will try my best to get all models to be up-to-date while giving every Mythic item a distinct appearance.

This is a fan-made resourcepack of Wynncraft and I am not affiliated with the team running Wynncraft.

Summary

MYTHOS is a work-in-progress, unofficial resourcepack made for Wynncraft. With a goal of breathing life into items that Wynncraft players all know and love, MYTHOS applies new models to many Mythics and numerous lower-tiered items.

Required Mods

  • CIT Resewn is required for some versions of this resourcepack to function.

  • I have also made versions of the pack which works with Variants-CIT, labeled with [VCIT] in front of the pack's name.

  • Install Server Pack Unlocker and place MYTHOS above the Wynncraft Pack in your 'Resource Packs...' page to ensure that models in this resourcepack are not overriden by models in the server resourcepack.

  • It is heavily recommended (but not required) to run Wynntils with this pack, as the mod's Spell Cast Message Overlay function prevents models from not applying when spells are cast. It is also a good general QoL mod for Wynncraft.

  • Optifine is currently not supported but the pack may work with it. It is still advised to run the pack with either CITR or VCIT, depending on the version you install.

You may not redistribute this project without my permission; nor claim ownership over this project (this includes all assets in this project). If you wish to let more know about MYTHOS, please do so using this link. You can neither repurpose MYTHOS in any other projects nor use MYTHOS for monetary gains unless you have clear permission from me. This project may be used for content creation or be modified, with the condition that the modified project is not publicly distributed.
