Please note: This mod requires The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed to work which you will have to download manually as it is not listed on Modrinth.

This mod is a Minecraft Forge 1.16 addon (currently in beta) for Mevan's The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed mod. The mod is currently in active development by a small team with the goal of adding all the missing content from LOTR: Legacy back into LOTR: Renewed. You will need to install The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed mod in order to run it.

Current Features

  • Most structures from the Shire including taverns, hobbit holes/houses, Windmills and Farms have been ported and improved. We even have a new original structure, the Hobbit Picnic blanket.
  • NPC Trading has been implemented with Hobbit Bartenders, Hobbit Farmers, Oddment Collectors, and Rivdendell and Galadhrim Wanderers having been ported
  • Most items/blocks/weapons and armor have been ported
  • Most ported items/blocks have new remastered textures
  • Chestnut Trees have been ported and currently spawn in the Shire
  • Fellowships and a LOTR Mod Settings Menu
  • Some new blocks/items such as new furs, new drystones and new lanterns

Priority Features:

You can view the Google Spreadsheet for more details on planned features but some of our current priorities include:

  • Porting the rest of the structures and biomes from LOTR: Legacy
  • Porting more NPCs and adding traveling traders
  • Implementing hirable units

You are allowed to use this mod in modpacks as long as your Modpack uses the Curseforge modpack system or you get permission from the team.
